Review: The Walking Dead, Volume 17: Something to Fear by Robert Kirkman

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars, Genre: Graphic Novel/ Zombies, Pages: 132, Level: Easy

Description from Barnes & Noble:

In this volume of the NYT bestselling survival horror, Rick and his band of survivors work to build a larger network of thriving communities, and soon discover that Negan’s “Saviors” prove to be a larger threat than they could have fathomed. Crossing Negan will lead to serious, dire consequences for the group; it seems that for the first time since the Governor’s reign of terror that Rick may have Something to Fear.

NOOOOO! Man this series is good.

Something to Fear is true to the title. We have seen in past volumes that zombies are not the only things to fear in this post-zombie-apocalyptic scenario. Living humans can be just as, if not more, brutal as zombies.

With other communities paying half their supplies to thugs, it is inevitable that Rick will have to confront them.

There is one big shocker that had me screaming. And I did not see the ending coming. What a great volume. My only criticism is that they are too short. They should be longer!
